What are some interesting places to visit in Bahrain?

I will be in Bahrain for a weekend. Are there any nice museums or shopping places? Anything unique to Bahrain?

1. -Nothing unique to Bahrain. Places to visit.: - Adhari. -Water Garden -Haveli -Coze-way -Maharak Enjoy...!
2. The ones I have visited so far: 1. The Bahrain Museum - I find the displays to be somewhat lacking although quite interesting. They have a huge collection of old manuscripts, a number of burial mounds and artifacts and a very interesting portrayal of the Bahraini culture. And there are also a lot of nice pearls on display.. 2. The Tree of Life...A very old tree whose source of water remains unknown. To get there you need someone who knows the roads. You can easily get lost. On the way you can see a number of oil wells too. For me apart from the tree, the most interesting part were the camels resting nearby... 3. The Adhari Park - your usual amusement parks and scary rides 4. The Lost Paradise of Dilmum - a water park The next ones on my list: The dolphin park/show Weekend at Hawar Island A visit at the Saudi-Bahrain causeway Highly recommended: The souqs are amazing. Maybe it's just me but I like walks around the souq. I feast my eyes (and my mouth!) with sweets, perfumes, knickknacks, beautiful but inexpensive abayas and a whole more...
3. I lived in Manama for one year. I visited everything and found nothing to be interesting. Although the Dairy Queen had the best chicken sandwich that I have ever eaten in my life!!! The souks are okay...but, they all seem to be the same. It's okay but nothing fantastic. Mostly the place made me mad because they import people from other countries to do the work. Arabs do very little other than own the stores. People from Bangledash wash the cars and run the elevators and are the janitors at the apt complexes. Sri Lankans are the bartenders......many more..... One thing though.........the food is EXTREMELY good..........especially the Turkish grills.
4. Adhari Lost Paradise Of Dilmun Seef Mall (Sales are on now!) Souqs Bahrain Museum it's suppost to have like won awards or whatever Bahrain mall? RAMEZ xD .
